CHEMICAL PEELS

TREATMENTS

xArtboard 1

Chemical peels are one of the most effective and proven ways to transform the skin by encouraging natural renewal at a deeper level. Using carefully selected exfoliating acids, peels remove dull, damaged outer layers while stimulating fresh cell turnover beneath the surface. This process helps to improve skin tone, refine texture, reduce pigmentation, soften fine lines, and support clearer, healthier-looking skin overall.

Suitable for a wide range of concerns—from acne and congestion to sun damage and early signs of ageing—chemical peels can be tailored to your skin type and goals. With options ranging from gentle, no-downtime treatments to more intensive resurfacing, they offer both instant radiance and long-term skin improvement, making them a cornerstone of results-driven skincare.

  • How long does BOTOX® take to work?

For most people, BOTOX® starts to work at around day 3 or 4 post treatment. For some it may take up to 2 weeks for the full effect to be seen.

  • How long does BOTOX® last?

BOTOX® typically lasts between 3-4 months in most humans.

  • How does the 2 week review work?

All of our clients are invited to a 2 week review where we assess your repsonse to the toxin. If  there is more movement than desired, we provide a complimentary top up.

  • Does the procedure hurt?

Anti-wrinkle injections are extremely well tolerated and we therefore dont use numbing cream routinely. We spend extra to purchase the smallest needles available on the market and also utilise multiple distraction techniques in clinic to ensure comfort.

  • How many times per year should I have treatment?

You are reccommended to have treatment 3 to 4 times per year to maintain your results.

  • Who administers the treatments at DEJAMO Clinics?

  • Which toxin do you use at DEJAMO?

By default we use Allergan BOTOX® at DEJAMO. However, Dr Ali is experienced using almost all of the major toxin brands. We are happy to prescribe an alternative brand for individuals who prefer an alternative. These may include: Bocouture®, Azzalure®, Dysport®, Relfydess®.

IMPROVING SAFETY

Botulinum toxin complications

Regrettably, complications arising from dermal fillers and Botulinum toxin are not included in the standard medical curriculum. This leaves patients vulnerable when they inadvertently find themselves treated by lesser experienced injectors, leading to emergency complications that require A&E intervention. However, many hospital doctors are also not adequately trained to handle such cases. Dr. Ali is an advocate for educational initiatives, aimed at equipping A&E doctors with the knowledge to manage these situations effectively. While this initiative is not a comprehensive solution to the issue - stringent regulations are essential in our industry - it's a proactive step toward enhancing safety in the meantime.
